Eat a Gay Love Thanksgiving Dinner

Our third annual inclusive Thanksgiving Dinner keeps the same mission: to spread love and food to our underserved members of the LGBTQIA community.

Queen City Nerve is now partnering with Billy Sunday (1115 N. Brevard Street, Unit 1) to host a FREE Thanksgiving Day dinner for anyone seeking community care. Unfortunately, members of the LGBTQIA community are often excluded from family functions while on vacation, and we work together to provide a safe space for fun. We offer curbside pickup for anyone who doesn’t feel comfortable being inside the space for dinner.

Community care
For the second year, we are in partnership with Block Love CLT. This is to make sure that all of our leftovers (not those on the plates) go to a good house. Block Love CLT is a local non-profit organization that sets up in Uptown daily to serve dinner to our homeless neighbors and twice a week for breakfast. Then all their leftovers are distributed to camps and shelters around town to spread love. All of our leftovers will be packed and will contribute to their mission of spreading bouldering love.

We are organizing this event on a donation basis. We ask that you, if you wish and can, donate your time or food and supplies to this effort. Food and supplies drop-off instructions will be sent to your inbox after submitting a donation form. Please include your email so we can keep in touch with you!
