Friday 27th April

Always wanted to be a mum or dad?

When you’re lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender, becoming a parent can sometimes seem an impossible dream. Knowing how others manage can be an enormous help.

Following recent workshops by LGBT Youth Scotland and the LGBT Centre for Health and Wellbeing, the Equality Network is asking LGBT people who are parents, and others who are trying / have tried to become parents, to share their experiences in a new e-book.

Please email Heather Walker at LGBTebook@aol.com, in confidence, by Friday 1 June to take part. Your name will not be included in the e-book unless you wish it to be.

Lesbians/bisexual women and gay men who want to start a family might like to read Pregnant Pause and A Guide for Gay Dads, downloadable from Stonewall’s website, www.stonewallscotland.org.uk.

Funded by the Scottish Government and developed by the Equality Network, supported by LGBT Youth Scotland and Stonewall Scotland
