This full day event will be delivered by LGBT Youth Scotland and the Equality Network. The seminar will highlight the current work being developed both nationally and locally for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) people across Ayrshire. It will be an opportunity to hear about LGBT young people’s experience and will allow professionals and community members to discuss the issues that impact on LGBT people and their intersection with the other protected characteristics.
Who is it for?
For all those working to improve the experiences of LGBT people including teachers, health professionals, social workers, youth workers and community workers, those with an equalities or Community Safety remit. All Council employees and Community Planning Partners across East, North and South Ayrshire, Elected Members, and members of the public.
